All lash & brow treatments require a patch test at least 24 hours before your treatment. 

This must be done regardless of if you have had lash or brow treatments previously.

Eyelash patch tests - A few lashes will be applied to each eye to check the sensitivity of the adhesive to each individual.

HD Brows, Brow lamination/ Brow tint & Lash lift - a small amount of the product will be applied to the inner crease of your arm.

If there is any sign of a reaction (redness, swelling, itching) then unfortunately I will be unable to proceed with the treatment.

A non refunable booking fee will be payable upon booking to secure your appointment.

Notice of cancellation more than 72 hours before your appointment - the booking fee will be refunded if cancelled or rescheduled before this time.

Cancellation/ reschedule within 72 hours to 24 hours of appointment - the non refundable booking fee will be retained by Emma Marie beauty and is not transferable to another appointment. 

Lateness -  Please arrive on time for your appointment, I am unable to overrun due to being on a tight schedule, if you are late then this time will be deducted from your appointment. If there is not enough time to do your treatment  then the cancellation policy will apply.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please arrive with clean lashes to your treatment, lashes that are coated in make up will need more time spent to make them clean at the start of the appointment which will come out of lashing time.

AFTERCARE FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS

You can get your lashes wet straight after the treatment, keeping them dry is an outdated method, and as research develops it has been shown it is fine to get them wet after with no effect on the lashes.

Please wash your lashes every day with a foam lash cleaner and brush. Washing lashes daily prevents a build up of dirt & oil which can lead to bacteria & lash mites.

After swimming in a pool or sea, please rinse lashes asap after with fresh water.

Do not pick or pull your lashes as this could damage your natural lashes.

Avoid using oily products on your lashes as this could make them slide off.

Do not use wipes on your eyes as this could cause the cotton to snag on them.

Eyelash infills are usualy needed every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking full.

Avoid sunbeds within the first 24 hours.

Brush daily.

HOW LONG WILL MY LASHES LAST?

This varies for each person, most peoples full set of lashes will last upto 5-6 weeks with the extensions falling out gradually over the weeks. Certain factors such as oily skin and how well the aftercare is followed can effect retention.

Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

If eyelashes are applied correctly - Applied to just one natural lash, and not too much adhesive used then the lashes are still free to grow as they would without extensions, causing no damage.

What happens when you infill my lashes?

At the start of the appointment, I will go through the lashes and will remove any extensions that have grown out by a few mm or more. If these are not removed then the lash line will look messy and  will hang out longer then the other lashes. I will then apply new lashes to the lashes without extensions.

LASH LIFT AFTERCARE

Dont rub the lashes for 24 hours after the treatment.

Use castor oil daily to keep the lashes nourished.

Comb daily.

Avoid mascara and other eye make up for the first 24 hours after the treatment.

PRIOR TO YOUR EYEBROW APPOINTMENT

Avoid anti aging products & exfoliation near the eyebrows for 3 days before your appointment.

Avoid the use of fake tan around the eyebrows before your appointment.

HD BROWS AFTERCARE

Avoid prolonged contact with direct sunlight

Avoid sunbeds, steamrooms, saunas & swimming for 24 hours after the treatment.

Avoid anti ageing products & exfoliation near the eyebrows for 3 days after the treatment.

Avoid touching the eyebrow area for 24 hours after the treatment.

BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE 

Please follow all of the above aftercare plus avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours after the treatment.

Use castor oil daily on the eyebrows to keep them nourished 

Exposure to the sun & UV light will cause the tint to fade quicker.

Yes - during the day time (before 5.30pm) please park on my driveway. After 5.30pm, please park along the road (not over the driveway) please take care to not park over any neighbouring properties driveways.
